I have been riding and teaching in eventing, jumpers and dressage for over 50 years, competing through Open Intermediate in Eventing and earning my United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Bronze and Silver medals.
I am based in the East Bay of the San Francisco area at Hossmoor in Briones. Hossmoor features a covered arena and several outdoor riding areas centrally located between Martinez, Pinole, and Lafayette, and only 30 minutes from Oakland and Berkeley. In addition to my regular students and their horses, I also give clinics in other areas. Please contact me to arrange a clinic at your barn or cross-country venue; Hossmoor also welcomes guest clinicians on a regular basis for my students to broaden their knowledge base.
My students are "regular people" who bring an array of strengths and areas needing improvement to the barn with them, from beginners to FEI. I pride myself on using each student's strengths to help them meet their goals, whatever their limitations of time, finances or current physical fitness may be; disabilities can also be accommodated in many circumstances.
Even if you do not own a horse of your own, there is a diverse array of horses at Hossmoor that may be appropriate to your needs as a student.
